Wintry Storm Brings Down Brookline Tree, Closes Road
Brookline police said some traffic was being diverted from Allandale Road because of a down tree in the storm Thursday morning.

BROOKLINE, MA — Traffic was being diverted on Allandale Road in Brookline Friday morning as one of many disruptions related to a harsh wintry mix of wind, sleet and snow in some parts of the state.
Brookline police said at about 9 a.m. that there was a tree down on the road and that some traffic was being detoured.
Residents and travelers were asked to seek alternate routes while the tree was being cleared.
