18-Year-Old Shot In Cambridge, Police Investigating
The 18-year-old Cambridge resident went to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, police said.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — After an 18-year-old was taken to the hospital early Sunday with gunshot wounds, police are asking for help to find a suspect or suspects.
Around 3:30 a.m. someone called to report gunshots near Eliot and JFK streets and a man running away from the area toward JFK Street. As police were heading to the area, a nearby hospital reported an 18-year-old man had arrived with non-threatening injuries after being shot.
Police found multiple shell casings on Eliot Street, they said.

Police said they learned that before the shooting, two groups were reportedly involved in several fights in the Harvard Square area.
Detectives were planning to look at nearby video surveillance footage Sunday and to speak to any one who may have been in the area and seen or heard something. Police are asking with anyone with information related to this incident to call them at 617-349-3300.
