3 Alarm Fire In Cambridge
A fire broke out in the attic of a duplex on Putnam Avenue Monday morning.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Firefighters have put out the bulk of the flames that prompted a three-alarm fire at a wood-frame duplex on Putnam Avenue.
An alert came in to officials just before 8 a.m. reporting a building on fire at 511-513 Putnam Avenue. When firefighters arrived they were met with fire in the building's attic and called a second alarm. A little while later, with flames pouring out of the roof, officials made the call to upgrade it to a third alarm.
It's not yet clear if anyone was home at the time of the fire or if there are any injuries.
