
CAMBRIDGE, MA — Police are searching for the man who reportedly grabbed the arm of an 8-year-old girl in Danehy Park Friday evening.
According to police officers conducted a search in and around the park area.
The 8-year-old girl was reportedly approached and had her arm grabbed by a man described as having blond hair on the Sherman Street side of the park at approximately 4 p.m. Police said the girl was able to pull away and run to the safety of a family member.

The man reportedly left toward New Street. Individuals in the area around the time of the incident were stopped and questioned, but a suspect has not yet been positively identified, police said.
At this point, they don’t have any surveillance images or videos to share and are currently conducting follow-ups to obtain any evidence or witness accounts that can provide further details.
