CAMBRIDGE, MA — One woman was taken to the hospital and a man was arrested Sunday after police said he pushed an elderly woman, knocking her unconscious and then threw eggs at her on Norfolk Street, according to the Cambridge police log.

Police arrested Jacoby Bradford, 65, of Norfolk Street and charged him with assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 and one charge of assault over the age of 60 causing serious injury.

Cambridge Police said they were called a Norfolk Street home around 1 a.m. for a report of an unconscious person. What they found, they said according to the police log, pointed to Bradford. The woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
