Firefighters Rescue Injured Cambridge Construction Worker
Multiple reports say the worker was at the bottom of a 30-foot pit.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Cambridge Fire Department helped rescue a construction worker whose leg was injured while he was below-ground Wednesday morning.
WHDH 7News and NECN both report the hurt worker was in a 30-foot pit. The scene was a Fawcett Street construction site, according to Cambridge Fire.
NECN's Susan Tran cites the deputy fire chief as saying the worker was at the bottom of that pit "when crews lowering (an) I-beam cut (his) leg." The worker's bleeding was under control before he was removed, according to Tran.
