Sex Offender Accused Of Kidnapping Cambridge Girls Indicted: DA
His was among 15 Cambridge related indictments handed down by the Grand Jury between January 17 and April 29, 2019, the DA announced.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — District Attorney announced 15 Cambridge related indictments handed down by the Grand Jury between January 17 and April 29, 2019. Of the 15 indictments, several involved guns and assault. The homeless man accused of threatening two pre-teens was also among those indicted.
Lens Altidor, 19, of Cambridge, was charged with larceny from a building, witness intimidation, threatening to commit a crime, and armed robbery. The Assistant District Attorney is Maren Schrader.

Lionel Ivan Braithwaite, 53, a homeless man and registered sex offender was charged with kidnapping (2 counts), witness intimidation (2 counts), and threatening to commit a crime (2 counts). Braithwaite Jr, was arraigned on kidnapping charges in Cambridge District Court in February. Prosecutors said he tried to kidnap two pre-teen sisters and threatened to shoot them if they did not follow him. The Assistant District Attorney is Allison Brown.

Shanna Burston, 32, of Springfield, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and assault and battery. The Assistant District Attorney is Maren Schrader.
Jean Carlso-Almodovar, 24, of Revere, was charged with carrying a firearm, subsequent offense, and possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Maren Schrader.
Matthew Devine, 40, of Cambridge, was charged with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a firearm without a license, carrying a firearm (23 counts), possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of ammunition (2 counts), and possession with intent to distribute heroin. The Assistant District Attorney is Ceara Mahoney.
Domonique Gary, 33, of Springfield, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, and assault and battery (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Maren Schrader.
Joshua Hollis, 30, of Cambridge, was charged with assault and battery by discharge of a firearm, assault with intent to commit a felony, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, carrying a firearm without a license, subsequent offense, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a license, improper storage of a firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, and attempting to commit a crime. The Assistant District Attorney is Caitlin Gemmill.
Tyjon James, 19, of Cambridge, was charged with armed robbery. The Assistant District Attorney is Terence Kiernan.
Erin Lee, 37, of Cambridge, was charged with larceny from a person over the age of 60 (2 counts), uttering a forged record, forgery, and money laundering. The Assistant District Attorney is Shannon Jurgens.
Jaavon Rodriguez, 25, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60, assault and battery, assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 causing injury, threats, and assault with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60. The Assistant District Attorney is Shannon Jurgens.
Andre Garvin, 34, of Cambridge, was charged with assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 causing injury. The Assistant District Attorney is Shannon Jurgens.
Ladjuan Guichard, 21, of Cambridge, was charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, attempting to commit assault and battery by discharging a large capacity firearm, possession of a high capacity firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, and being an armed career criminal. John Kargul, 57, of Brockton, was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Cyrus Chung.
Joekeem Nelson, 23, of Cambridge, was charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, attempting to commit assault and battery by discharging a large capacity firearm, possession of a high capacity firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, and failure to stop for police.
