Where to Find Your Nearest Public Piano
Here's where to tickle the ivories in Cambridge.
BOSTON, MA — Bust out your Beethoven, pianists (and practice your "Chopsticks," everyone else), because the street pianos are coming back, part of the "Play Me, I'm Yours" series running Sept. 23 through Oct. 10.
This year represents the return of the public pianos. The Boston Celebrity Series first installed the artfully decorated pianos around town in 2013, inviting the public to sit down and tickle the ivories as part of artist Luke Jerram's international series.
The Celebrity Series announced the piano locations Wednesday, with 60 locations and 75 collaborating organizations participating in Street Pianos Boston.
