Grand Opening Seasonal Party and Food Drive at New Wellness Center in Sharon!

The Enlightened Earth Healing Wellness Center is pleased to officially open its doors with a grand opening party and holiday food drive on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2-5 p.m.  EEH is a center committed to full body health and connected consciousness, and its quiet, comfortable space invites you to relax your body, free your mind and ground your spirit.  It is located at 210 North Main Street in Sharon (route 27, 1 mile from Cobb’s Corner) and its practitioners include Missy Ward, LMT (www.EnlightenedEarthHealing.com), Marggi Shechanah, CPC, MSW (www.GentlePathwaysCoaching.com) and Julie Wiener, N.D. (www.BeaconNaturopathic.com).  

 

Missy Ward, the founder and director of EEH, brings over 15 years of diverse alternative healing to the Center.  She holds a BA in sociology with a minor in psychology from Keene State College. She studied massage therapy at The Swedish Institute in NYC. She is a certified 2nd level Reiki practitioner of 13 years. She also studied privately for 4 years in Manhattan learning advanced energy balancing techniques with deep tissue and structural correction techniques. Her broad range of techniques can be used for an array of issues, from physical pain and discomfort to emotional blocks and a deeper understanding of self. She is also certified in prenatal massage. Missy is a recent student at the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. With a firm belief in the body-mind-soul connection, Missy is excited to bring her knowledge and practice to the town of Sharon.

Marggi Shechanah attended Brandeis University, then attained her Masters in Social Work at the State University of New York at Albany and worked in that field for nearly a decade specializing in family therapy.  She left social work in 1998 to teach and pursue other ventures.  In 2009, Marggi trained to become a Certified Professional Life Coach according to the criteria of the International Coach Federation through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.  Marggi helps people connect with their inherent strength and intuition in order to clear emotional blocks and clarify and attain their goals through life’s transitions.

Dr. Julie Wiener is a graduate of Bastyr University and has been practicing naturopathic medicine in the Boston area since 1998.  She specializes in finding natural solutions for hormonal imbalances (adrenal, thyroid, female and male), digestive disturbances, food allergies, anxiety and depression.  She works with each patient as an individual and addresses their health concerns through a unique blend of nutrition, herbal medicine, dietary supplements and positive changes in lifestyle habits. Her goal is to help you elevate your state of wellness while addressing your current health concerns.
