Canton's Dedham Street To Experience Overnight Road Closure

CANTON, MA - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that a section of Dedham Street near the bridge over Interstate 95 will be closed nightly to all vehicular traffic. This closure will begin at 9 p.m. and continue through 5 a.m. the following morning on Tuesday, November 9, Wednesday, November 10 and Friday, November 12. The closure is necessary to allow crews to safely and effectively reconstruct a portion of the I-95 bridge.

A detour route will be in place for travelers during these times.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers along the detour route.

Drivers who are traveling through the impacted areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
