Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce Program

"Post Election Economic Forecast" will be the topic of the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce program on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 7:30 a.m., Sheraton Four Points, 1125 Boston-Providence Highway (Route 1 South), Norwood.

Michael J. Widmer, President of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, George Donnelly, Editor of Boston Business Journal, and Michael Goodman, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, are the featured speakers.

Widmer joined the Foundation in 1990 after more than 20 years of management and political experience in both the public and private sectors in Massachusetts.  He served with the Sargent administration as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Human Services and in the first Dukakis administration as the Governor's Director of Communications and Deputy Chief Secretary.

Donnelly is a well known face in the Boston area business work, and Boston Business Journal is an important watchdog on behalf of local business. He is the former editor of CFO magazine.

Professor Goodman serves as Co-Editor of MassBenchmarks, the journal of the Massachusetts Economy published by UMass in cooperation with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
