Meet Jake Shahrooz, of Jake’s Falafel Corner, Newton, MA. Jake came to America from Iran, and will share with us the wonderful Persian and Middle Eastern foods of Jewish Persian tradition. We’ll learn about the cuisine, being Jewish in Iran, and more. Enjoy sampling Jake’s delights, including: exotic Persian rice dishes adas and albaloo polo, Persian chicken kabob, baba ganoush, hummus, and falafel. The cost for entry is $5 per person for TBD members and $7 for non-TBD members, which will be collected at the door. Soft drinks will be served. Please RSVP to Steve Brauner by calling 781-575-0401 or sending an email to slbrauner@aol.com.
