• Ex-Stoughton cop decertified for alleged Sandra Birchmore exploitation (masslawyersweekly.com) — State police regulators have permanently stripped a former Stoughton deputy chief of his certification after finding he lied about a relationship with Sandra Birchmore, who was found dead in her Canton apartment in 2021. The decision, based on years of misconduct findings, bars him from police work in Massachusetts and places his name in a national database limiting future law-enforcement jobs.
