It is the season for the CHAD Christmas for Kids coat drive, and the organization is preparing to gather new winter coats to donate to Charlestown children.
If families would like to order new coats for the children, forms can be picked up at the Boston Police, District A-15 police station on Vine Street. Residents of the BHA Bunker Hill, CharlesNEWtown and Mishawum developments can pick up forms through their management offices.
Forms must be completed and submitted no later than Monday, Dec. 10.

The requirements are: Children are Charlestown residents and 15 years of age and under; a family member with ID must pick up the coat; and children have not received a coat from any other organization.
CHAD will also be taking monetary donations at the Charlestown Cooperative Bank and the Bunker Hill Mall (next to Dunkin' Donuts) on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
