
Mayor Menino's Annual Holiday Trolley Tour and Santa Visit on Sunday, Dec. 9 at Thompson Square was a great success!
Residents of all ages gathered to await the Macy's Trolley, hosted by First Lady Angela Menino and City Councilor Sal La Mattina.
A "Get Well Mayor Menino" banner and card were presented to wish Mayor Menino to have a quick recovery.

Santa greeted children and passed out gifts, as the Toy Soldier, Snowman, and Santa's Reindeer made friends.
In the spirit of a community event, The Charlestown Mothers Association, Charlestown Against Drugs and local businesses generously supported the event: Jenny's and Paolo's donated pizza; Sorelle's donated cookies; Boston Organics donated apples; Dunkin Donuts donated coffee; Whole Foods donated cider, hot chocolate and brownies, Bunker Hill Florist donated holiday plants, elf hats were donated by Boston Portfolio Properties, and inflatables provided by Doug MacDonald.
