• Maynard MA Beacon Santa Telethon achieves 20-year fundraising high (wickedlocal.com) — Concord families in need are among those helped by Maynard High School’s WAVM Beacon Santa Telethon, which just hit its highest fundraising total in 20 years with more than $45,000 raised. Student volunteers run the around-the-clock broadcast, and donations are still being accepted for about another month to support holiday assistance across 12 area communities.
