A search for a missing man that started Thursday had dive teams at Walden Pond looking for him Thursday and Friday.

CONCORD, MA — The second day of a search for a missing Cambridge man at Walden Pond has come to an end, according to State Police. State Police dive team and Mounted Unit returned to Walden Pond Friday morning to continue the search for a man reported missing and believed to have been at the pond earlier this week.
The search began Thursday afternoon and continued until nightfall. It started up again Friday morning and after eight hours, in which state police searched by land, water and air ended Day 2.
"We utilized sidescan sonar and conducted numerous dives as a result of sonar images of the pond bottom that were acquired, but did not locate the missing gentleman or any other evidence," police said in a statement. "We also searched the shoreline of the pond and nearby trails with three MSP mounts and also found no further evidence today."
