The following are excerpts from the department log, Thursday, April 5 through Sunday, April 8.

Thursday, April 5

  • Police were dispatched to Locust Street to check the well being of an elderly man who was reported walking down the street at 6:40 p.m. When police arrived they did not locate the man in question.
  • Graffiti was reported at the by Mill Pond at 9:23 p.m.
  • Police were dispatched to Motel 6 at 9:51 p.m. due to a civil dispute. The situation was handled.
  • Youths with a loud radio in the parking lot were reported to police at 10:10 p.m. They were gone when police arrived.

  • A vehicle parked on Thorpe Circle was reported "saran-wrapped" at 2:32 a.m.
  • A middle school fight was reported at at 9:07 a.m.
  • At 1:13 p.m. police arrested Nicole Thain, 29, of 365 Meridian St. in Boston, on charges of shoplifting at .
  • Police were dispatched to on report of an infant left in a vehicle alone, at 2:28 p.m.
  • Justin Corneliusen, 23, of 1000 Kirkbride Dr., was arrested at 2:34 p.m. on charges of operating with a suspended license and violation of an abuse prevention order.
  • A domestic dispute was reported at at 2:58 p.m.
  • A domestic dispute was reported at at 3:42 p.m. The couple was gone when police arrived.
  • A fight was reported at the Skate Park at 3:53 p.m.
  • Police were dispatched to Elliott Street at 5:56 p.m., when a box of nails spilled in the road.
  • Police were dispatched to the parking lot on report of road rage at 5:56 p.m. The hood of a vehicle was damaged due to an individual punching it.
  • A residence on Bay Drive was reported broken into at 8:20 p.m. 

Saturday, April 7

  • A dog "constantly barking" was reported on 20 Wenham St. at 1:20 a.m.
  • A female panhandling outside in Danvers Square was reported to police at 11:14 a.m.
  • An alleged rabid animal was reported by the Wenham and Princeton Street intersection at 1:15 p.m. Police were not able to locate the animal.
  • Police arrested Melanie Rouleau, 30, of 45 Purchase St., on charges of shoplifting at , at 4:52 p.m.
  • Christopher Montes, 24, of 39 Leach St. in Salem, was arrested on warrant charges at 7:11 p.m.
  • A domestic dispute was reported on Mohawk St. at 7:25 p.m.
  • Malicious damage to a vehicle parked at was reported at 9:15 p.m.
  • Police dispersed a loud group at the Skate Park at 10:33 p.m.

Sunday, April 8
