1. Tonight Danvers Patch is excited to participate in , starting at 7 p.m. To send us your last minute questions for the candidates, email molly.buccini@patch.com

2. Have you read The House of Sand and Fog, or Townie? Local acclaimed author tonight at , as part of their PREP Parent Council Speaker Series. The begins at at 7 p.m. in the Kaneb Theater. Residents are welcome to attend.

3. Volunteers are needed for the Aug. 11th, Operation Troop Support "Ride For Our Troops" - Motorcycle Run. A meeting for volunteers and for people who would like to volunteer is scheduled for this Thursday, 6:30 p.m. at the VFW.

4. Today's 5 Things Photo: On April 16, Troop 63181 visited the People-to-People Food Pantry. Troop leader Elaine McFarlane said "the girls donated 10 cases of Girl Scout Cookies and took a tour.  They were so impressed with the way the food pantry helps families in Danvers that they are working on a way to increase donations during the summer months."
