$500 E-Bike Rebates For Danvers Residents
Danvers Electric customers who purchase a Class 1 or Class 2 standard or cargo e-bike are eligible for the rebate.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents willing to go electric to get around town are eligible for a rebate program of up to $500 through a new town program that begins next week.
Town officials said this program is aimed at providing residents with affordable and sustainable transportation options while promoting carbon emission reduction methods in Danvers.
Danvers Electric customers who purchase a Class 1 or Class 2 standard or cargo e-bike are eligible for the rebate. Class 1 e-bikes are pedal-assist only, with no throttle, and a maximum assisted speed of 20 mph. Class 2 e-bikes are equipped with a throttle that can also propel the bike up to 20 mph.

"We are proud to support Danvers' transition to greener transportation options," said Clint Allen, Utility Director of Danvers Electric. "This initiative aligns with the goals of the town's Climate Action Plan, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and emissions reductions."
