Brush Fire On Peabody-Danvers Line Causes Route 128 Delays
Fire crews from both towns responded to the brush fire, which was on the Peabody side of the town line on Route 128.
PEABODY, MA —Traffic was slowing on Route 128 North Monday afternoon as firefighters from Danvers and Peabody brought a small brush fire under control. The fire was located near the town line and on the Peabody side, adjacent to Jewish cemetery and Endicott Street. A Crash near the Northshore Mall was also slowing traffic on the highway just before 2 p.m. Monday.
