Danvers Park Street Reopens After Thursday Night Water Main Break

The Department of Public Works said crews were able to complete the necessary repairs on Friday morning.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers Department of Public Works crews completed work on a water main break that shut down Park Street early Thursday night and reopened the road on Friday morning.

The street had been closed Thursday night into Friday because of what the Water and Sewer Division called a "major" water main break.

Danvers DPW said the break occurred between Chase Street and Damon Street.
