Danvers Paving Project With Possible Detours Set To Begin Aug. 29

The Conant Street Paving Project will last about two weeks with drivers asked to avoid the area if possible.

DANVERS, MA — A two-week paving project on Conant Street beginning on Aug. 29 will include potential detours.

The Danvers Department of Public Works is asking residents to seek alternate routes and avoid the area, if possible, to avoid construction delays. The DPW said detours may be in place during the duration of the project.

"The project is planned to be completed before the start of the upcoming school year so as to not interfere with school commute," Danvers DPW said.
