Danvers Police Arrest 5 Suspects In Giblees Theft
Four women and a man were arrested in Lynn after the brazen attempt to steal Canada Goose jackets.

DANVERS, MA — Four women and a man are facing charges for Thursday's attempted theft of 16 Canada Goose jackets from the Giblees store on Route 114 in Danvers. The thieves had attempted to steal up to $16,o00 worth of jackets but ultimately made off with only one when employees at the store fought back and blocked their exit. The thieves fled in a gray Acura but Lynn and Massachusetts State Police were able to stop the car in that city and arrest the suspects.
Adriana James, 23, of Jamaica Plain, Bryon Vaughn, 23, of Dorchester, Mekeda McKenzie, 19, of Dorchester, Kashawnii Roumo-O’Brien, 20, of Mattapan, and Lynasja Trimble, 20, of Mattapan were scheduled to be arraigned in Salem District Court Friday.
The theft set off a brief manhunt in Danvers Thursday as police looked for the suspects. The high-end jackets have retail prices ranging from $750 to $1,500. One of the store employees was treated for cuts and bruises and released from a local hospital.
