Danvers Runners In The 2022 Boston Marathon
Patch wants to tell your story of running in the first traditional Boston Marathon since 2019.

DANVERS, MA — At least 16 Danvers runners will take part as registered participants in the first traditional Boston Marathon held in April since 2019.
The 2020 race was canceled at the start of the COVID-19 health crisis and the 2021 race was held with a reduced field this past October. But on Monday, a field of 30,000 runners and rows of spectators will return to the 26.2 miles between Hopkinton and Copley Square for the first time in 1,099 days.
You can see the list of Danvers men and women running below.

"After a three-year stretch that saw the Boston Marathon move to a virtual format in 2020, then shift to a fall edition in October 2021, we are delighted to return to our traditional date of Patriots' Day for the 126th running of the Boston Marathon," said Tom Grilk, President and Chief Executive Officer of the B.A.A. "The B.A.A. looks forward to restoring back to a traditional Boston Marathon weekend, welcoming 30,000 participants, nearly 10,000 volunteers, and countless more supporters to what surely will be an exciting and memorable race day."
