Danvers Under Fire Weather Watch
The National Weather Service issued the watch for Friday, March 23.

Some of northern Massachusetts, including Danvers, and much of southern New Hampshire was placed under a fire weather watch by the National Weather Service for Friday, March 23.
Recent high temperatures, accompanied by little rain, has made the likelihood of fires more prevalent across New England.
"High pressure and drier air will build south out of Canada for Friday," the National Weather Service said in the statement. "Clear conditions will promote warm temperatures into the low to mid 70's, as well as low-level mixing of drier air to the surface, resulting in relative humidities to fall into the how to mid 20's across southern New Hampshire and portions of northern and central Mass. by midday."

NWS said low-level mixing will also promote faster Northwest flow at 25-30 MPH. This in combination, with the little rain that has been seen over the past two weeks, makes present conditions at/or exceeding critical fire weather conditions.
On Saturday and Sunday there is a 40-50 percent chance of precipitation in Danvers.
