Driver In Fatal Danvers Crash Was Hamilton Man

Police found a car driven by Conrad Garfield, 41, of Hamilton "deep in the wood line off of the Ferncroft Rotary" when they responded.

DANVERS, MA — Massachusetts State Police said the man who died in a single car crash near the Ferncroft Rotary on Route 1 in Danvers Tuesday was Conrad Garfield, 41, of Hamilton. Police responded to the scene around 2:50 p.m. and found Garfield's 2018 Volkswagen Atlas "deep in the wood line" near the rotary.

Police still don't know why Garfield drove off the road or when the crash occurred. The investigation is ongoing.
