Elderly Man Reported Missing At Liberty Tree Mall Found in Peabody

put out an alert for a 78-year-old male who wandered away from the  earlier this afternoon. 

The alert stated "an elderly male wandered away from the Liberty Tree Mall this afternoon. He is a 78 year old white male who goes by the name of "Tony" wearing a blue and tan shirt, tan khakis and sandals with white socks. Please contact DPD at 978-774-1212 or dial 911 if you see him! "

Just after 6 p.m., the alert was cancelled: the man was found 'safe and sound' in Peabody.
