Family Festival Schedule: July 4

The following Family Festival events are scheduled for today:

Horribles Parade

• When: Wednesday, 8 a.m. registration, 9-11 a.m. Parade
• Where: Parade starting @ , corner of Beachwood and Collins St.
  
• What: Join the most horrible parade in Danvers. All are welcome. Dress up yourselves, your wagons, your bikes, make your own floats, or just march in your most festive 4th of July attire. The parade will go from Seaboard Products to the Training Ground / Highland Common on Centre Street. Prizes for ‘Most Horrible,’ ‘Most like Danvers,’ ‘Most Patriotic,’ and other categories will be awarded at the Commons. Refreshments for participants.

Back Bay Parade

• When: Wednesday, 11 a.m. - Noon
• Where: Damon & Porter Street
• What: A perennial favorite, the Back Bay parade will assemble at the corner of Damon and Porter Streets at 10:30. The Parade will start at 11:00 and take a route through local neighborhoods. All are welcome!!! Bring your costumes, your decorated doll carriages, bicycles, and wagons. Take your antique car out for a spin. Walk as a Boy Scout, Girl Scout, or sports group. Make a float, or just carry a sign. Dress in your Sunday finest or last year’s Halloween costume. It’s all in fun!!!!
