Register to Vote

The last day to register to vote for the town's May first election is Wednesday, April 11. The closes that evening at 8 p.m. .

Danvers Kiwanis Scholarship

Danvers High School seniors who have participated in community service are encouraged to apply for the Kiwanis Club scholarship. The application deadline is April 10. The application has been attached as a PDF file.

Lifetime Enrichment Award

An application form for the Lifetime Enrichment Award (formerly Senior Scholar Award Program) is available at the or on line at www.dcoa.org. Any Danvers senior, age 60 and older, interested in exploring new horizons is encouraged to apply. Applicants must be a current member of the Friends of the Danvers Council on Aging. Scholarships may be used for Explorers, Elderhostel, class or trips. Financial need is not part of the criteria. Deadline to submit application is April 13, 2012.

Annual Scrabble Tournament

Join the Friends of the Danvers Library at the annual Scrabble Tournament fundraiser on April 22. Registration is required.

Youth Football Cheerleader Registration

DYF Cheerleaders are holding open registrations on April 24 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Danvers High School Cafeteria. Check out their website for more information.

Interested in becoming a sponsor for an exchange student? The students won't be in Danvers until the first of July, but sign-ups are already underway. .
