Stone Street Bistro Opens At Danvers Senior Center

The Bistro is a revitalization of the Danvers Council on Aging Café program.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers Senior Center members will have a new lunch option with the opening of the Stone Street Bistro.

The Bistro is a revitalization of the Danvers Council on Aging Café program, led by Nutrition Coordinator Jennifer Baker.

The Bistro will initially be dine-in only on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., featuring a monthly rotating menu. The menu can be found in the Oniontown Seniors' monthly newsletter here.

A survey that garnered more than 225 responses generated improvement suggestions and nutrition options offered.

The town also held a dedication ceremony for Rosana "Roz" Masse, who, upon her passing in 2018, made a generous financial donation to the DCOA in support of nutrition programming. A portion of those funds was used to purchase items for the initial Birstro relaunch.

The dedication is on the wall just outside the kitchen door in the Great Room for individuals to learn more about Masse.
