5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: July 22

Traffic alerts for motorists, magic show and Buzz Lightyear at library, and Framingham Selectmen approve license for Craft Beer Cellar.

1. Roadway construction is planned on Salem End Road and Temple Street today. Motorists should seek alternate routes, as significant delays are expected.

2. Framingham Selectmen voted Tuesday night to approve a license for the Craft Beer Cellar to open in Framingham.

3. Buzz Lightyear is expected to make an appearance at the weekly story time at the main Framingham Library at 10:15 a.m.

4. A temporary detour will be in place beginning tonight, starting at 8 p.m., for southbound travelers on Main Street between Franklin Street and Mount Wayte Avenue in Framingham. This detour will remain in effect for the night work through Thursday evening, July 23. Northbound travelers will not be effected.

5. The main Framingham Library will host magician and juggler Scott Jameson at 3 p.m. for a free performance geared for families with children kindergarten age and older.
