Tarbox Ramblers take the stage at Amazing Things Arts Center in downtown Framingham tonight at 8. βRobert Plant caught the groupβs live show and asked them to open his tour dates right on the spot; he later tapped them as backing band for a set with Alison Krauss at The Rock Hall of Fameβs Leadbelly Tribute,β posted Amazing Things.
Tickets are still available, and beer & wine will be sold at this show. Tickets start at $20, but discounts available for seniors and students.
4. MUSTANGS in action:
- Marian High girls soccer team shut out Pope John 5-0 but the boys soccer team lost to Keefe Technical 3-0.
- The volleyball team has a home match today at the school at 5:30 p.m.
5. FLYERS in action:
- Yesterday, the Framingham High girls soccer team notched its second win a row. They shut out Norwood 4-0.
- The girls field hockey team lost to Mustangs under the lights in Norwood 3-1 Thursday night.
Tonight:
- Framingham High girls swim & dive team will travel to Newton for a meet against the Tigers of Newton North at 4 p.m.
- Football team hosts Brookline at 7 p.m. at Bowditch Field. The 0-4 team will be hoping to secure its first win in two seasons.
