Jamar Williams and Akye Boston used their speed and great blocking by the offensive to bring the Flyers near the goal line. Dante Marino was then able to run for a 10-yard touchdown to give the Flyers and early 6-0 lead.
Brockton looked to tie the score on their first possession, but the Flyers recovered a fumble by the Raiders on the kickoff.
Brockton eventually got the ball back when Framingham fumbled it near the Raiders 10-yard line.
The trend of fumbling continued two plays later when Heriberto Lopez recovered a fumble and gave Framingham the ball yet again. Despite being very close to the end zone, the Flyers soon turned the ball over on downs.
This turnover was costly, as Brockton threw a 94-yard touchdown pass on their next play. The Raiders took a 7-6 lead after they scored an extra point.
Framingham was eager to strike back and did when Jamar Williams flew up the right sideline and scored a 56-yard touchdown. Akye Bostonβs extra point run made the score 13-7 in favor of Framingham.
Williams had another great 35-yard run in the 2nd quarter that put Framingham at Brocktonβs 1 yard line. Akye Boston then quickly ran for a 1 yard touchdown and Heriberto Lopez had an extra point run.
The Flyer defense wasnβt allowing Brockton to move the ball well as Shawn Ashe and Marino played especially well on the defensive line.
Later, Williams scored his second touchdown of the day by hurdling over a Brockton defender on a 40 yard run and Richard Boston ran for an extra point on the next play. Framinghamβs dominance continued when Peter Sinesi threw a touchdown to Akye Boston and ran in an extra point on a quarterback keeper. It wasnβt even halftime, and the Flyers already lead 34-7.
The Flyers still continued to play well in the second half. William Villafane intercepted the Brockton quarterbackβs pass and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown. Richard Boston intercepted another pass a few plays later.
The game finished early due to a blowout as the Flyers were victorious 40-7.
