Gabriel Bracero knocked out Framingham’s Danny O’Connor 41 seconds into the first round in a NBCSN televised fight at Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, Oct. 10.

A right punch by the Brooklyn boxer caught the Framingham welterweight off guard. O’Connor laid on the mat for a couple of minutes as the doctor tended to him. He later got up, was talking, and sat in his corner.

Bracero told NBC during the televised fight that knowing O’Connor was a southpaw he knew he had to use his right.

In May, O’Connor won the New England welterweight title in an NBC televised bout. He defeated Chris Gilbert when the fight was called in the fifth round.
