EDITOR'S PICKS: 5 Things To Do Today June 6 in Framingham

Keefe Tech graduation, AF-TV Studios open house, Framingham History Center tag sale, and Five O'Clock Shadow performs at Amazing Things.

Below are my picks of things to do today in Framingham, June 6:

  1. Class of 2015: Keefe Technical School will hold graduation this morning for the Class of 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Framingham School.
  2. New AF-TV Studios: Access Framingham is holding a grand opening of its new studios today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A formal dedicationw ill take place at 11 a.m. at 4 Vernon Street.
  3. History Tag Sale: The Framingham History Center will hold its annual tag sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.
  4. Donuts & Mother Goose at the Library: The main Framingham Library will hold a Dads & Donuts session today at 10 for children age 2-6 and their dads. (Mothers and siblings are welcome to attend too.) At 11 a.m., parents of children from birth to age 3 can sample trhe Mother Goose on the Loose program, that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, instruments, and more to stimulate the learning process of babies and toddlers.
  5. A Cappella Performance: Boston-based a cappella group Five O’Clock Shadow performs tonight at Amazing Things Arts Center in downtown Framingham. Show starts at 8, and tickets are limited. Tickets are $20, $19 for seniors/students and $17 for members. VH1 labeled Five O’Clock Shadow “the best undiscovered vocal band of the new millennium,” and its award-winning album Wonders of the World garnered praise as “one of the most influential a cappella albums of the past decade.” The group has performed our National Anthem for the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots, and twice was the featured halftime performer for the NFL Hall Of Fame Game.
