Flag Day Celebration Sunday at Framingham Elks
The Community is invited on June 14 for a celebration of Flag Day at the Framingham Lodge of Elks #1264.
In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson first officially proclaimed June 14 as Flag Day in the United States.
Decades later, Congress officially established June 14 as Flag Day.
On Sunday,The Framingham Lodge of Elks #1264 will hold a community Flag Day Celebration.

The event starts at 11:30 a.m.
A flag ceremony is scheduled for noon.

Framingham Girl Scout Helen Scanlon, a Cadette Scout in Troop 72082, will sing the National Anthem.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to stay for a cookout. Lunch is free for the kids.
The event ends at 3 p.m.
