SLIDESHOW: Framingham Boys Volleyball in Finals Thursday

The 16-6 Flyers will take on 18-3 Lincoln-Sudbury High School for the Division 1 Central title.

The Framingham High boys volleyball team continued its road to a state title on Monday night defeating Millis High School in the semifinal round of the MIAA Division 1 Central tournament.

The win earns the Flyers a spot in the finals on Thursday.

Framingham High will take on #3 seed Lincoln Sudbury at Newton South High at 7:30 p.m.

The Flyers, seeded #9 in the tournament, defeated #5-seed Millis 3-1.

The Flyers won the first two sets 26-24 and 25-16.

Millis won the third set 25-23 and the Flyers took the fourth set in dramatic fashion 29-27.

The Millis Mohawks, four times, were one point away from a fifth set.

Junior Kelvin Rivera had 27 kills in the victory, and scored three points in a row in the fourth set to lead Framingham to victory.

In the quarterfinal round, the Framingham High boys volleyball team defeated #1 seed Algonquin last week.

The Flyers defeated #8 seed Natick in the opening round of the post-season tournament.
