Framingham Brother and Sister Died in Sunday Morning Crash
Framingham Police have identified the occupants of a vehicle that crashed into a pond near the Framingham Country Club, on Gates Road.

A brother and sister from Framingham died in a crash early Sunday on Gates Road by the Framingham Country Club, police said. A third occupant of the vehicle, also from Framingham, is at Mass General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The victims have been identified as Brian Archila, 21, and his sister, Jennifer Archila, 25.
Earlier Sunday, June 7, just after 7 a.m., members of the Framingham Police and Fire Department responded to a report from a citizen of a partially submerged vehicle in a pond located on Gates Road.

On arrival, first responders discovered a Honda Accord overturned, resting in the water, with the majority of its chassis submerged, said Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.
Rescuers discovered one occupant alive and still trapped in the vehicle.

She has been identified as Lilibeth Vasquez, , 21, of Framingham, said Lt. Cronin
Framingham Fire extricated her from the vehicle and she was transported by medical helicopter to Mass General Hospital in Boston. She has non-life threatening injuries, said Lt. Cronin.
Upon further inspection of the the interior of the vehicle, rescuers found the two individuals already deceased.
The vehicle was removed from the pond and secured for examination by investigators. It is unknown how long the vehicle was in the pond before emergency crews arrived on the scene at 7 a.m.
Members of the Framingham Police Investigative Unit are assisting members of the Framingham Fire Department, Mass State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit, Mass State Police CPAC Investigative Unit, Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office in the Investigation.
