Framingham High football team defeated Brookline High Friday night, to end a 16-game, 2-season losing streak. The Flyers defeated the Warriors of Brookline 9-0, to go 1-4 on the season.This was Framingham's first win since 2013, under head coach Gary Doherty. The Flyers were 2-10 in 2013, defeating Brookline twice.In 2014, the team went 0-12.The Flyers scored a touchdown late in the game to get on the board first last night.Quarterback Nate Martino connected with Tayeron Campbell in the fourth quarter to give the Flyers a 7-0 lead. Late in the fourth quarter, Framingham backed Brookline inside the 20-yard line. On 4th and 15, the Flyers forced a punt and Framingham's Chicozi Mza blocked the kick to score a safety.Next up for the Flyers is a game against the Rockets of Needham at Bowditch Field. ***Photos by Cummings Photography.
