A girl, 10, was found unresponsive at the bottom of a pool at a home on Edgell Drive on Saturday night, July 18.

Framingham Police and Fire responded to the home around 7 p.m.
First responders performed CPR and defibrillation on the girl.

She was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.
Framingham Patch learned late Saturday night, the girl had died.
Emergency crews told Framingham Patch the girl did not live at the 110 Edgell Drive address. First responders said the girl was attending a family event at the house.
According to first responders, a family member rescued the girl from the pool. Someone at the house tried to resuscitate her and called 9-1-1.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s office is in charge of the investigation.
The name of the girl was not released as of 5 a.m. Sunday, July 19.
