Husband Creates Normamei Rocha Scott Memorial Scholarship
Robert Scott created the scholarship in memory of his wife, a Wilson Elementary teacher, who died in January.

To honor his late wife Normanei Rocha Scott, Robert Scott of Ashland created a memorial scholarship fund in her name.
His wife was a teacher at Wilson Elementary School in Framingham for 17 years.

Scott placed $25,000 into a fund, to create the Normanei Rocha Scott Memorial Scholarship.
“It’s the best way to honor her,” said Scott Tuesday night.

“She was dearly loved by staff and students,” said Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott.
After unanimous approval from the Framingham School Committee on Tuesday night, now annually one graduating former Wilson Elementary student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
