LETTER: 'Our Job Must Be To All Work Together Collaboratively'
"The new nine member elected board must start with a fresh start with new beginnings."

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The following was submitted by Ricky Finlay. Want to get in on the conversation? Email charlene.arsenault@patch.com.
First of all, I want to say thank you to all of District 2 to for having your continued faith in me to serve and represent you on the school committee. With that being said, I would like to put out there to the public and the newly elected committee that the new nine member elected board must start with a fresh start with new beginnings.
Our job must be to all work together collaboratively and put all differences aside no matter what past feelings are so that we can put students and the district first. The senior members of the board must spend their time helping out getting new members up to speed and do whatever they can to make them feel part of the team. I pledge that I will be one of these nine members to transition into the new committee in a positive and respectful way. This is what will be helpful to students, staff, and parents. Thank you again for the opportunity.
