This letter is to inform you that I am a finalist to serve as superintendent for Cambridge Public Schools.

You should know that Framingham Public Schools is dear to me, both personally and professionally, and while I am confident that FPS can continue to thrive, I have mixed emotions about the idea of leaving our school district.

My tenure as superintendent at Framingham has been deeply rewarding.

I have enjoyed working with all of our stakeholders to implement strategic programs and engagement opportunities for students, parents and community members.

We have accomplished a great deal for our school community at-large, and I am proud of our achievements. Although there is more work ahead for our district, I am confident that we have established a strong foundation supported by new systems, strategies and teams that will continue to move FPS forward.

Leadership change is not easy.

However, if I am selected to serve as the superintendent of Cambridge Public Schools, I will work carefully with the FPS school committee to support a smooth transition, so that we do not lose any of the momentum that we have created. Our students, parents, teachers, and community members deserve continued, attentive leadership, and I will ensure that the transition is seamless.

Thank you for your commitment to Framingham Public Schools. I am deeply honored to serve this great community
