SLIDESHOW: #1 Concord-Carlisle Ends Flyers Playoff Run

The Framingham High girls lacrosse team's season came to and end Tuesday, as they lost to Patriots in the semifinals of the MIAA tourney.

The Framingham High girls lacrosse team’s season came to an end on Tuesday afternoon, as Concord-Carlisle outscored the Flyers 18-12 in the semifinals of the MIAA Division 1 East Tournament.

The Flyers, seeded #5, were lading early in the first half but by halftime the Patriots had taken an 8-7 lead and never relinquished it again.

Concord-Carlisle was the #1 seed in the tournament, and will now battle #7 seed Lincoln Sudbury in the finals.

Sophomore goalie Abigail Herrman had 15 saves despite the loss. A half dozen different Flyers scored for Framingham, including recent Class of 2015 graduate Kristin Wilder.
