SLIDESHOW: 139 Graduate From Keefe Technical School

The regional vocational school, located in Framingham, held its graduation ceremony on Saturday morning.

While attending classes at Joseph P. Keefe Regional Technical School, Kelley Rivers of Framingham had an internship at Access Framingham.

Yesterday, at 11 a.m. Rivers was one of 139 graduates from Keefe Technical School, as Access Framingham held a grand opening for its new studios across town, at the same time.

Rivers spoke about her love of technology as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2015 at Keefe Regional Technical School Saturday morning.

Keefe Technical School, located in Framingham, is a vocational school that allows students to pursue a career including technology. Starting sophomore year, students alternate between a week of academics and a week of a career program.

Other student speakers yesterday included Salutatorian Leticia Rodrigues Silva and National Honor Society President Jenna Kennally.

More than half of the graduation class will attend college in the fall.

Most of the Class of 2015 hail from the in-district communities of Framingham, Natick, Ashland, Holliston, and Hopkinton.
