Tibor Retiring After 4 Plus Decades With Police Force

In 2013, Framingham state representatives pushed legislation through the State House to allow Tibor to stay on the force beyond age 65.

Framingham Police Officer Robert β€œBob” Tibor is retiring after four plus decades with the Department.

The 4-12 police shift held a small gathering with Tibor to celebrate his 43 years on the force.

Tibor has held many hats with the Framingham Police Department.

He served as a crime scene technician, as a commercial vehicle federal motor carrier safety Inspector, a collision reconstructionist, a railroad safety instructor, said Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.

β€œOfficer Tibor’s outstanding service to the town of Framingham is truly valued by the community,” Rep. Sannicandro said back in 2013.

He will be missed, said Lt. Cronin.
