Traffic Alerts Issued for Water Street, Temple Street, and Salem End Road
Expect delays on these roads on Wednesday, July 29, as early as 5 a.m.
The Town of Framingham has issued traffic alerts for Water Street, Salem End Road and Temple Street for Wednesday, July 29.
The delays on Water Street will be due to the Central Street bridge construction.
The delays on Temple Street and Salem End Road are due to a rubber chip seal application.

Eight large steel beams will be brought from the Nobscot Shopping Center to the Central Street Bridge down Water Street westbound. The truck carrying the beams will be traveling at a very low rate of speed to ensure safety.
Police will be on hand to facilitate traffic. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes.

There will be a three-phase traffic management plan in place for the Temple Street/Salem End Road project.
Phase One: Temple Street South
Scheduled for a 5 AMa.m. start will be open to local traffic only during application process. We anticipate reopening as work progresses.
Phase Two: is Salem End Road
Primarily westbound traffic flow but will change to two-way traffic flow as the work progresses.
Phase Three: Temple Street North
Primarily northbound traffic flow until the work is completed.
Emergency vehicles and school transportation will have full access at all times with some minor delay. Police details will be onsite to facilitate safe traffic flow.
