3-Alarm Fire In Hopkinton Damages Home

Firefighters from across the region responded to the Tuesday afternoon blaze in the downtown area.

HOPKINTON, MA — Fire crews from across the region responded to a 3-alarm fire in the downtown Hopkinton area on Tuesday.

The fire broke out around 1 p.m. in a home at 10 Mayhew St., just off Route 135 in the downtown area. Firefighters from Framingham, Milford, Ashland, Hopedale and beyond responded to help put out the fire.

According to images from the scene, the fire was located on the upper floor of the multifamily home, and left the roof badly damaged.
