50 Holliston Middle School Students Stay Remote After Virus Case
Fifty students at Robert Adams Middle School will have virtual classes for the rest of the week after a staff member tested COVID positive.
HOLLISTON, MA — While most students at Robert Adams Middle School will continue hybrid classes as usual this week, 50 students will be kept home for remote learning after a school employee tested positive for COVID-19.
Scott Moles, the town’s public health director, told the Daily News that the students were in remote learning because there wasn't enough staff to cover the classrooms while a small group of staff who were in close contact with the unnamed positive person get tested.
Only one student was reported in close contact with the staff member and was instructed to quarantine along with any other staff members in close contact.
